The Hillsta Amazing Race

Hillsta is a new development in Choa Chu Kang based on the concept of Satoyama.
‘Sato’ means arable land and ‘yama’ means mountain in the Japanese language.

Accessibility


It is very accessible! There is a bus stop just beside Hillsta. If you need to take a train, just a 5 minutes walk will bring you to the Phoenix LRT station.

Not only that, when the Bukit Panjang MRT station is completed, you have easy access to Singapore’s efficient MRT network!

We had a whole morning racing around the vicinity to collect Hillsta dollars! Each station have a specific task to be completed which is related to the area or development.
The team with the highest amount of Hillsta dollars get to win $1500 worth of shopping vouchers!
It was a lot of fun trying to complete the tasks at each station with my partner, Jaslyn!

After a lot of laughter and sweat, we managed to complete with 3300 Hillsta dollars.

But, the winner is not us. Another team won with 4400 Hillsta dollars! Congratulations!
Although it is tiring running around, we had the chance of exploring the neighbourhood and covering the area by foot.
