Sony Mobile announced a number of new products at the Consumer Electronics Show 2014 held at Las Vegas. They ranged from smartphones to other smart devices.
Xperia Z1 Compact is designed for those who want a compact form of Sony’s flagship Xperia Z1 that fits neatly in the palm of one’s hand, without compromising on flagship features such as “G Lens”, “Exmor RS for mobile”, “BIONZ for mobile”, a high-quality 4.3-inch TRILUMINOSTMHD Display and X-RealityTM for mobile. Available from Mid-February 2014 (in most global markets, with rollout starting in European countries such as UK and Germany).

SmartBand is the first product in the SmartWear range that underline Sony’s commitment to the rapidly evolving wearable technology market. It logs daily activities and represents them visually in Sony’s new Lifelog application. (Available Spring of 2014)

Following the recent launch of SmartWatch 2 in Singapore in October last year, Sony has announced today updates and additional applications, offering over 300 compatible applications with many more in the pipeline supported by a vibrant developer community. (Available now)

The latest addition to Sony’s NFC-enabled accessories is the SBH-80, a ‘one-touch’ pairing Stereo Bluetooth headset in a stylish and splash proof neckband-style design. It supports NFC, HD Voice and aptX, and features convenient controls for enjoying music and hands-free call handling. (Available March 2014)
