Logitech announced the X300 Mobile Wireless Speaker back in late June. Weighing at just 355g, it is light and portable. The small footprint of the device also means that it can be easy carried around no matter where you go. Just put it into your bag and you are ready to rock!

The Aesthetics

Logitech this time round make the X300 in a very unique shape. It is not a full cylindrical shape and it sits at an angle. The front of the Logitech X300 is slanted both left and right, possibly to give it a better sound projection.

The power button is located at the back of the speaker at one side, the 3.5mm audio jack in and USB charging port located at the other side.
On the top of the X300, there are just three simple round buttons. Volume down, Bluetooth pairing button, Volume Up. The buttons are raised to it is easy to identify the buttons for operation.
The X300 is available in black, blue and red. I prefer the black version as the metallic part of the speaker is in gold.

Wireless Freedom

The Logitech X300 is simple to use. Power it up and pair it using Bluetooth. Just press and hold the Bluetooth button conveniently located on the top to start pairing. Once paired with any device within 30 feet, you will hear a connected tone and be ready to jazz up the party! Check out the video for the pairing process!

The Speaker

The Logitech X300 Mobile Wireless Stereo Speaker has specially angled drivers to give a good range of sound. On top of that, the speaker is pretty bass-y and gives quite good reproduction of the music.

On top of that, the rated 5 hours of music playback is pretty good for a small speaker like the X300 and easily charged using the micro usb port.

So here you have it, my take on the speaker. It is available now at the suggested retail price of SGD$99.00.
